Thank you, Ohio, for the 177,416 votes last Tuesday! It's gratifying as a non-major party candidate that so many of you expressed confidence in my ability to assume the job of Auditor of State. Let me be the first to wish Mr. Yost well as he embarks upon the duties of that office.
Also, I want to thank the inclusive media from this election: ONN [Ohio News Network], WGTE - Toledo, WBNS Channel 10 - Columbus, WHIO - Dayton, WHLO Radio - Akron Canton, and others throughout the state. I think we Libertarians showed we have serious, thoughtful, and experienced candidates and hope in the future that even more media - and the voters ! - recognize our talents and positions on the issues of the day.

Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce Presents Candidate Forum To Be Broadcast on WGTE, Howard Will Participate.
On Friday October 15th, Mike Howard, Libertarian Candidate for Ohio Auditor will participate in the Candidate Forum presented by the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce at the WGTE Media Studios.
The audience will be made up of members of the Toledo Regional Chamber of Commerce. They will focus their questions on business-related issues.
The telecast will begin at 10am and will be moderated by Jack Lessenberry, Ombudsman, for The Blade.

The Ohio Society of Republican Hypocrites has chosen not to endorse L. Michael Howard. CPA, the most experienced and competent accountant and professional Auditor candidate ever for Ohio Auditor of State, and a nationally recognized expert in governmental accounting and auditing, in favor of an untrained and inexperienced career politician. “By making this endorsement,”, Howard says, “..the society shows its true allegiance which is not to good accounting and auditing principles and practices but to its status as a Republican front organization..” The Society has thus forfeited all claim to any legitimacy and its endorsement is just “more of their same old same old” hypocritical extremist politics.
